   Detecting

Me and Gary  @TwoToes and Hugo  @MRGOLD99.999  attempt  to find Gold Nuggets during  a short break in the storm. How short a break watch and see what its like Gold Prospecting during  California's Bomb Cyclone. ( Bombogenesis )
See the advantages to having a Metal Detector that's waterproof like the Minelab SDC 2300.

The Creek is running higher than we have seen in recent years making the spots to detect fewer and fewer and covering the spots we worked last week with water. The high water dose help move the smaller flower Gold but we are after the bigger Gold Nuggets and you need more water to move the boulders they are hiding under. I did hear a couple boulders rolling and sliding along in the creek and its kind of an eerie sound.

wouldn't you know it I leave my Umbrella at home when i need it most !!!!!  Probably a good thing as the wind would have either blown it down the creek or ruined it...
