Ok People I want to Lay the Myth to rest about VLF machines Not working in Hot Ground, So what I would Like to know is How Small are/was your Smallest Nuggets that you have with Normal VLF machines from 5 kHz to 22.5,khz, GMT's and Goldbug II Not Allowed Angry

Also how High was the Mineralization and what sort of signal did it give along with the Depth, If possible.

If you have Pictures Please post them.

Thank you.

They do have trouble in mineralized ground. That's not a myth. That's what Ground Balancing is all about.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Yes GD, what I am trying to get a clearer picture of is Companies Design a Machine with the Best possible Ground balance systems and then people say that they are not very good and Yet Companies Like Garrett and Whites have been used on the 4 corners of the Globe in the most hostile regions, Yet since the Birth of the PI people now say that VLF's Don't work, When the Truth is They Do, Maybe not as Deep as A PI but they do work,

And the Biggest Nugget ever Found with A Detector was Found with A Garrett VLF In Australia although it was a Foot Deep it still worked, And I have read that my machines wont find Gold yet One of them started a new Gold Rush In Alaska when it first came out, and the Other One has found More Gold In Alaska than any other Machine ever Made,

The Tesoro's are A Fantastic Machine yet they never get the Credit for how good they Actually Are.

I have read many Negative Claims about VLF's today and yet I have read other reports that say they do work in places Like Australia,

You won't really know if they don't. Nobody denies that they can find small nuggets but how many did you miss because of mineralized ground? Impossible to tell. So the stories and arguments about the capabilities will continue.

Even if you try to set it up for a test you get skewed readings because gold that has been in situ for a long time reacts differently than gold that has been salted.

If you feel like arguing about it, go for it. I'm just giving you the benefit of my electronic experience and my personal experience in using both machines. It just can't be proven.

The perfect detector doesn't exist. We all know that. Every time I believe I have the best machine for my use, along comes something better. I hate them.

My internet is messing with my head. Down 7 times in the last 3 weeks.

Jon?  Why did I get a empty PM from you?

Best I've done with a VLF was 1/8 Gram down 4 inches with a Garrett 15Khz machine.   Moderate Hot Ground in Arizona.
