For me it's simple I would go for the PI probe, the Falcon is to bulky for me.

Yeah I think the Falcon is A PI But I think where that one comes in to its own is for searching for Gold Dust and Exploration as it is so sensitive it would be Great for that kind of thing,

My everyday Probes have always been the Whites Bullseye II, Because it Runs at 36 KHz (not 38 as I posed else where) It will see Items the size of 0.1 grams and bigger and one larger targets it will see them up to 4 or 5 inches away and It is adjustable along with having an Audiable Alarm or Vibrate Only and Has a Bright LED mounted near the Probe for use  when the holes get deep or in the dark,

i have a deteknix and it is good as the garret

deteknix will offer a pi pinpointer in beginning of 2015

there is also a fine thing from
SECON GPP 1.4 German Pro Pin Pointer Metalldetektor
SECON UWPP 10
and ebinger uwm20

but all an end to expensive for me and also not total deep seeker

i think it is a good compromis to take a surf pi longboard and make a pp from it (fit good in a tube and take three cr123a li ion accu cells)

RR if I understand you correctly you are in fact looking for a pin-pointer that will be able to detect small gold and as deep as possible. That pin-pointer that you have the bulls eye II sounds like it's doing the job so why do you want to get another one?

X , Most pin pointer just can not  find gold as small as the Falcon.    I used one for a while got broke and sold it.   They can drive you nutts telling you there is gold in a rock that you can't see.

Yes I guess that there has to be a limit to how small you want to find the stuff.
