and also many of the previous posts on this board.

You'll find the following coming up as recommended reading time after time:

Anything by Karl von Mueller (especially The Treasure Hunters Manual #6 and/or The Treasure Hunters Manual #7)

The Urban Treasure Hunter by Michael Chaplan

Most books by Charles Garrett (especially good for specific subjects of interest such as coin hunting or cache hunting).

If you are interested in Beach or Underwater hunting, you'll probably find the best book recommendations on the Beach and Shallow Water Hunting board.

I'd also recommend that you invest in local history books, especially ones by long time residents.   Those help you identify areas to hunt in your own area (and people who might have buried caches).   Along with those, the books in the Images of America series are also very helpful when you're trying to find potential sites.

What would you recommend for shipwrecks and underwater searches?

Troy
There are lots of books about shipwrecks and sunken treasure. To get you started I suggest any of Robert Marx's books.

If that doesn't get Cornelius posting again, nothing will.

I just started "Sunken Treasure How to find it".  so far looks like a lot of ways to start and good information.
