 Hi all,
I posted a pic of some miltary badges that I have been finding at a location here in Ontario Canada, they are mostly WW1 except the large one which is a Milita cross plate 1860s, the pic was moved to the "relics" area on this site I notice that no one has seen it and I was hoping for some comments about them from our Canadian members, check em out.

 Hi Christian,
The badges heve been found over the last 27 years and strangely enough I have about the same amout of British badges, I'll post a close up of those soon, the Canadian site was withdrawn I think what happened, the land owner told us we could have all the stuff we found but wanted to see it, after showing him some pictures of the badges he notified me by phone and said he wanted his son to use his new "gift" a detector so we were to stop detecting on his property, makes you wonder if you should always "tell" what you find........ Sad.............

Heres a interesting story "it is true in every respect" The picture is of a complete "Boys Brigade" belt buckle so this is how it happened.
The centre piece of the buckle I found in England many years ago it has around its centre the letter "B" and dead centre the letter "L" which is for London, the other piece I found here in Canada and I am pleased that they actully fit together what is amazing is it too is Boys Brigade, and the second piece has the guys name stamped on the back they are not from the same buckle that much is definite........HH Johnnn
