Nice if it would have been, I pulled up a couple of sturps in Va some years ago, from an old Federal Cav Camp.

Nice stirrup.  I suppose a saddle expert could tell you the year this was used.  I saw a McClellan saddle once and the stirrup looked a lot like yours, but I don't have any knowledge of stirrups in general.

The McClellan was used up to WW1..hard to tell.
