Hi, All!
This item was dug out in Iran a few month ago.
Made of a light white color metal, may be of bronze. The ancient fylfot on the shield, shoes in oriental style...
The height of the warrior is 14 sm.
Any ideas of where I could find info on age?

Pewter.   Bronze would be more yellow like Brass.     Bronze is copper,  and Tin.

Thanks! Xavier, The Iranian owner used when searching for metal detector. You are right, I would advise him to go to the Iranian museum.

Hello, Homefire. Among my ancient finds have items made of white bronze.
 "Bronze color varies depending on its composition; with increasing percentage of tin in the alloy bronze color turns pink and red (90-99% Cu) in yellow (85% copper), followed by white (72% copper), and finally I / steel-gray (35 % copper)".

There are new International  antiquity  laws to deal  with  also.
Things are  not  like  they were years ago .
One should  check  on those  before  doing  anything  with  the  item .
