Hi All,
I have posted a pic from a local newspaper which has Faaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrr
to much info in it regarding 1812 burial sites particularly where there are about 20 US soldiers buried.
To all who may read this item DO NOT go to this site it is under surveillance, I have known about the burials for many years and have never been on this piece of property, this site is scheduled to be "dug" and the bones of these soldiers returned to the US.
Any one caught here will do the hobby much damage and also will face charges!!!....Keep the bad guys away ........Johnnn

Thanks for the heads up, Johnnn.   Either we police ourselves or we allow others the ammunition with which to shut us down.

I agree with you johnnn, it would really put a bad spot on this hobby to have even more folks thinking we are a bunch of grave robbers and such lawless folks. I was asked if I wanted to try to find and dig up some Confederate graves by a non-detecting man and his wife one time...Needless to say, I declined the offer and never went back around those folks again. Let me tell you, if you want some serious ridicule and trouble...get yourself branded a graverobber! NOT FOR ME AND MINE...NOPE! I WANT NO PART OF THAT!

Hi Treasuremomo,
This is a patch of land where the graves are known to be, but no one knows exactly the location they are scheduled for excavation soon, and I do know local people are on watch..HH........Johnnn
