Tabdog;
Do you mind describing how you got the stove trivet from state A to state B.  That is an incredible transformation!

That is a toy gun. I am sure it is the oldest
I have fornd. It looks it anyway.

It is better made than any cap gun I have
ever seen. It had a long strait trigger spring
like a real revolver. If that spring had not
rusted, it would still work.

I am gonna risk looking stupid and say turn
of tha century.

Wow, what a nice display.  Is that a couple of lead lidded, porcelain mason jars?

Oh, okay then.  I have two mason lids with porcelain.  They are broken up though.

Na, I dont mind.

Lookie here,

{alt}

I start off with tha wire brush on a 6" grinder. I get
all I can with that.

Then there is stuff I can get off with a screw driver,
and maybe have ta hit tha screw driver with a hammer
a little.

I get all I can with tha small brushes on a 3/8ths inch
drill.

Then use a round file, and and a triangle file. Then
clean it up with wire brushes.

Nerver got all tha crud off. But I got a nice wall
hanger,

I have found hundreds of broken ones.
I have broke a bunch my self.

I have several unbroken ones around
here some where.

I do not have many lids because tha
dirt eats tha zink after a while,

They can be sold for a small amount
because there is a small demand for
the porcelin. It breaks.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog
