Go Up Go Down

Hello all. Today was a nice day so me and my neighbor went out and dug the well I was talking about. It was super hard to do. But we did find 2 indian head pennys and a few busted bottles. But we didnt get to dig as much as we wanted to. I am positive that there is more down there. Took us six hours to dig out about 25 buckets of dirt. Had to move tons of branches and rocks.

The best finds are in the hardest places to hunt, I would be rather careful in wells as I would be somewhat concerned about a cave in.

Keep up the good work!!! And lets see some finds.

as you go deeper watch air quality also...it can get bad especially if your using gas or deisel engins on the surface the fumes are heavier than air and you can get CO poisioning...do be careful...Smiley

This sounds like it has been worth the work! I assume that the depper you get the better the finds may get as most of the stuff that was dumped should be right on the ground level.

Could you please post some pictures for us?

How deep to you plan to dig and how did you find / search for the Indian head pennys?

Good luck,

Christian

I will get the pics up soon, There is alot. We sifted the dirt as well as hit it with a metal detector. There was alot of stuff in it. Such as chicken bones, clam shells, glass, and pottery.

I havent gotten back since the last time when I found the muskett ball and indian head penny. My funding has put a stop on me buying a new climbing rope. All my money is tied up in my 10 month old daughter. I dont want to climb on just any rope. So I am going to wait to I can afford one or someone donated me one. But I will keep you posted.
