Go Up Go Down

Hi,

i had to go to a meeting at Wuerzburg, a city about 100 km from my hometown, few month ago. My detector was in my car and after working i stopped at a little forest just to hunt a little bit. After a long while without any signals i was on my way back to the car.

Then i had nearly every meter signals and what i found was lots of WW2 garbage of the US Army....peanut butter cans, meal and coffee bags, a handfull of old batteries and then this Iron Cross  Smiley

I noticed that it was an older cross from WW 1.... so I think that some US soldiers had a break in this forest and take a look at their souvenirs.... When they noticed that there is no swastika on the cross, they throw it away...  Grin just an idea about what happened there..  Grin

Those are pretty hard to find unless you are near Stalingrad where thousands had been dropped by airplanes instead of food. Espeically in such pristine condition!

Regards,

Christian
