I thought I posted a picture of tang type crossbow points on this forum, but I don't see it. Hmmm, I think I'm losing it. Anyway, here are some socketed bolts I found. The top one is nice because it has a smashed in tip. It must have hit something hard.
The bottom one is the biggest point I have. It was found with a number of other smaller points. It almost looks big enough to be a spear point or something, but I am no expert on such matters.

I'm new to the site and I've enjoyed looking at your finds. I can't help but notice a lot of your finds are quite old and I believe Roman or Medeival periods. Am I safe saying you reside out of the US and probably overseas? Either way, I really enjoy your postings and finds. Very exciting to see. Some day I hope to search areas that contain items like these. Thanks for sharing. Ron
