Here's a pic of a Tomohawk found some time ago I have two similar axes but they do not have the same shape that we all recognise as a tomohawk
this one is abeeeaut!..........I am hoping to get out soon as the snow is not all that deep this year.........HH.......Johnnn   These are from 1812.

Yeah this snow sucks and blows, I thought things were improving just enough to get out one more time but he ground has now frozen too much so as usual we will have to wait it out........."Research time again"

      Even rusty like that, it is easy to see why tomohawks were favorite tools/weapons --- and not just by the "native" Americans.
