Hi,

what you often can find on german fields are these NSDAP party badges. I think that there are still thousands of them in the soil because end of the war it was better not to get seen with something like this.  :Smiley

A lot of people throw there badges and medals in the forest or the fields, good for us  Wink

That is pretty cool there.

I guess they would rather shed tha party

than shed their skin.

Thanks, I like that,

Tabdog

@Eugene52
These badges are in a too bad condition for an collector. You can get original party badges in very good condition for small money. There are still very much of them on the market. So why pay money for a badge in this condition when you can get a new looking one for about 20 Euro ?  Grin

Go Up Go Down

My 1933 NSDAP N?rnburg Rally solid brass badge is something else though, not a TINNY, and not a copy as often sold by certain dealers as originals. When I pointed out to one dealer what was wrong with his "Original", he said he was interested in mine and would I send him photo?s. So I did. Then he wasn?t interested, but six months later he was selling Originals that had suddenly been updated to look more like mine. He was very good though, he?de even hit them with spades or the like to make them look like they?de come out of the ground.
Problem is, the solid ones are EXTREMELY RARE, and the amount he was selling (Is still selling) just doesn?t add up either.
Mine I know is original because I dug it up out of a field with a bunch of other NAZI stuff. mine had detail in the windows, his didn?t, my pin was in a groove at the back, his was under a stainless steel round glued or soldered cover.
But people get conned every day on this stuff, it?s knocked up in small workshops in Poland and Bulgaria for about 50 cents, and the dealers sell it for $ 100.00 to $ 250.00 US on the internet.

That is awful.

I hate someone who wants to suck off others
dishonestly. (not my kids)

Happy Huntin,
