Not very often, in fact I have never seen a site that produces the range of goodies that I once had at a particular location.
These pics are Canadian military badges WW1 and they came up on every visit, I took a pic of them for this show-n-tell, they are standard issue cap badges and collar dogs with a few regimentals.

Hay John,

Those are some really awsome finds. Too bad you about the site.

Those are so awsome. I can not see them very well,

Do you think you could do some more close up. Maybe
just put one to four at a time.

Which one is from the 1860s? Do you know some about it?

Thanks fer sharin Tabdog

Hi Keel,
This site belonged to a property developer and was once a training ground for the military, it was a very productive site but they stated we could no longer get on it, no real reason given but these people had encountered a couple of other guys using detectors there without permission, so we believe that was the problem.
We have two other sites that can produce good finds but they are seriously contaminated with shell casings another site is a park, this is land returned to the public but was never "cleared" so we find all sorts of military stuff on it.
We are on the Niagara penisular. Ontario..HH.......Johnnn

At least you had the one great find out of it.....it is amazing how one person can ruin a spot with great potential. I am out in the vancouver/fraser valley area of BC and there are several "ex" military areas out here....I just started but am trying to pinpoint them and identifying exactly where and where I can not search......looking forward to it.
