Pierre Plantard if we base the statutes of 1956, not yet boatman, but the secretary general of the association. From the year 1960, the legend of a Pierre Plantard representative of the lineage of the Merovingian got a huge hit with esoteric of all stripes, which are worth to be surrounded by a sort of courtyard.

This until the story goes a little too far when, not content to declare off the Merovingian line, Mr. Plantard or his followers he invented an affiliation with Christ himself. Now, Mr. Plantard died, and the veil of mystery that surrounded him having gradually been lifted, that nowadays we do not find many people to believe that.

Apart from many of the public who knew nothing about the case until it is put forward with the release of the book of Mr. Dan Brown, "The Da Vinci Code."
We must also remember that some years ago, this same story had been a very positive response with the release of a book entitled "The sacred mystery.".
A book that this time was not meant to be a novel but a book very seriously and in which its two authors, completely subjugated by Pierre Plantard, had cheerfully taken up all these stories without ever checking.

For in fact Mr. Plantard had since the Second World War, truly obsessed with chivalry.

And with his Priory of Sion, it was not his first attempt to try to promote a new order of chivalry.

At first glance one might think that it could be that naive to easily swallow all the nonsense contained delirious fable of the Priory of Sion.

Well no! It turns out that under the presidency of Fran?ois Mitterrand, a famous judge formally investigated, from a denunciation of the alleged Priory of Sion, a secret society which would have reigned some close to President Francois Mitterrand himself !
It seems that the informant had not appreciated Mr. Plantard because he specifically cited it as pulling the strings the shadow of this secret society running a secret government of France since the twelfth century.

What makes one day, the home of Mr. Plantard was the subject of a great raid on commission said the judge, and he had the pleasure of being heard by the judge throughout the case.

It was too much for Mr Plantard, who dreamed of power and he found himself for the blow a bit overwhelmed by such a storm.

What makes this incident since we heard much more about him until his death.

What is little hope now is that this dark farce of the Priory of Sion with its fake parchments no longer come to pollute a nonsense riddle as interesting as that relating to "Rennes le Chateau.

An enigma already formidably intricate in itself, frankly, did not need all of his fantasies that is corrupted for nearly half a century.

Thank you LUC

For your interesting posts.

There is many treasure stories blown out of all proportions from the original events. It must be symptom of human nature to manipulate a story beyond all realms of reality creating the legends we hear today.

I can name a poor Island country that treasure hunting has been turned into the national past time. Where thousands of people believe in a myth with little or no credible evidence, because they want to believe in the dream.

There are many other treasure stories of course with the same fascination that creates the very legends we hear today.

I think first of all is that the word treasure, makes everyone a dreamer.

The treasure is perfect because it conveys the notion of a hoard of money before any other concepts: historical facts and religious beliefs.

We must also say that for those who believe hold a piece of truth about a treasure of history why would he communicate it to others. As they say he will pull the blankets to him. That cover their tracks.

That is why the affairs of treasure are often so confused.

Best regards

Luke

Hello Luc

I have a question for you?

I read some where that a opera singer called Emma Calve was in some way connected to the story of Sauniere?

Once again thanks for the interesting posts!

Hello Again Luc

Here is a picture ( sorry for the poor quality ) of Emma Calve. Some authors claim she was a friend and even perhaps a lover of Sauniere?

She seemed to have many admirers in her time. The alleged post card photograph of her if you look on top left hand corner, she seems to have autographed this photograph in 1897 to saint Germain  "The Great Chiromancer, who has told me many truths"

Isn't the Count saint Germain a mysterious mystical figure that is believed to have lived for centuries turning up in all parts of Europe royal courts of the 16th ,17th 18th centuries? Who was alleged to be alchemist who allegedly knew the secret of transmuting lead into gold?

Perhaps Emma Calve was linked to philosophical societies who venerated this mythical figure in the 1890'S. Or perhaps it was all stage theater by her? Did she have a connection to secret societies in France at that time?

Was there really ever a relation ship or connection between Emma Calve and Sauniere?

All interesting all the same.

Hardluck.

Sorry  for late reply, I was out of my house for three days

Emma CALVE

So much has been said about the relationship between Emma Calv? and the Abbe Sauniere, it is difficult to separate fact from fiction. It is possible, but never proven, Emma Calv?, indeed, could serve as 'liaison' between various other characters, or esoteric societies, and Berenger Sauniere.

Emma Calve-called Rosa Emma Calvet for administration. She was born August 15, 1858 at Decazeville Leonie Adele Astorg and Justin Calvet. It will support and virtually raised by her aunt, Madame Caylet, 1868 in La Bastide-Pradines, countries Larzac plateau near Valley Cernon. The 'T' Calvet be sacrificed for the benefit of a CALVE more artistic accents. His father, Justin Calvet, is an entrepreneur specializing in the timbering of mine galleries and tunnels ... whole program 'underground'!
Then educated at the Convent of St Affrique, it has already been noticed by Mgr Bourret bishop of Rodez, which stated that 'the beautiful soul of Rosa Emma shone clearly on his face ... Rosa-Emma Emma Calv? will become, in 1888, witnessed the 'War of the Roses' which opposes the Marquis Stanislas de Guaita (restorer of the Order of the Rose-Croix) to 'black magician' Boullan, defrocked priest practicing in Lyon art of witchcraft.

To this must be added that the chance to lead this woman's incredible destiny in 1894 to acquire the famous castle Cabri?res in the Rouergue. Strange castle which is said to be a mecca of the occult and the esoteric area '. The tradition ensures that its innermost secrets have housed the fabulous manuscript 'Abraham' held by the famous alchemist Nicolas Flamel. Pierre Borel supports this rumor as a 'Treasury research and ancient Gallic and French (1655):' I heard a gentleman to ensure the Rouergue, Mr. Cabri?res, standing in his castle near Millau, where I was purpose to see that he had the original of this book that the late Cardinal Richelieu had recovered before his death. " It will take nearly ten years to Emma to renovate his castle ... She was aided in this by Justin Calvet ... It is said that funding for this task periods correspond with certain 'key' to Sauni?re ... All this could he explained that, after all, why not?
Still, Emma again indebted to the end of his life, had sold his castle Cabri?res to the chatelaine of Creissels alleged to have been for nearly ten years the tutor children Habsburg ... But is this another story?
It seems certain from the work of Jean Contrucci that the singer is familiar with the Abbe Emile Hoffet. For Gerard de Sede, the Parisian priest would contact Berenger in Paris about documents allegedly found in the pillar of the church of Rennes-le-Ch?teau. If, as we believe these scrolls are false, the contact also likely not have happened ... Unless, again, there has been a mix of voluntary and true and false leads that some trade or exchange some, will be made between Hoffet Sauni?re and another way in the Paris region.

Yet if one has no details on what type of romantic relationships, we can observe other more tangible elements. It is said that Emma Calv? frequented many esoteric circles, whose Wonderful Bookstore, founded by Chamuel and Papus. In a back room of the meeting point of the occult Paris is the headquarters of the Order Martinist renovated by Papus in 1891. At these meetings 'closed' is also found Stanislas Guaita founder of the Kabbalistic Order of the Rosicrucians and many outstanding personalities of the esotericism of the time.
Emma meet at a man who will mark a turning point in his life: the journalist writer Jules Bois. This looks happy to demonology and the lead singer in the practice of occultism and esotericism deep and activist.

Passionate about Hinduism and the occult [1], she attended the Black Cat's cabaret in Paris, accompanied by Mucha, of Papus, and Camille Flammarion.

In 1942, a star dies in Montpellier, in anonymity. Global Star, Emma Calve was the great singer of the Belle Epoque, adored by crowds and royalty, her soprano voice, an unusual extent with strong chest notes and treble fabulous expert in witchcraft, has raised an emotion comparable to the hysteria of dilettanti today.

She wrote her autobiography, Under skies all I sang, published in Paris in 1940.
