Go Up Go Down

Hi folks,

I found 15 gold rings in 2008.

The first one I found in 2008 was the fourth gold ring
I ever found. It is a 14k gold with a 1/5 ct pair shaped
diamond, and found with my Tesoro Euro Sabre. It
was close to a concrete swimming pool deck.

{alt}

The second and third gold rings were my only gold
rings that I found at a swim beach, and I was using
my EuroSabre.

The one on tha far right had 14 small diamonds.
the big stone in tha middle is a CZ.

The ring that is third from tha right is number three.
It has one small diamond.

{alt}

It gets hard to remember which machine I was using
after that, but they were all Tesoro,es, and most were
found with Compadres. I have two.

Here is number 4, found around a swiming pool deck.

{alt}

This is my favorite ring.

It was found in a park, between a tot lot and a pick-nick
table.

{alt}

Gold ring number six is a small girls ring found in a
tot lot.

{alt}

Number seven was a tot lot find.

{alt}

Then I found this 1947 college class ring around a
swim pool deck.

{alt}

Then I found this nice gold ring in a tot lot.

{alt}

Number 10 is a tot lot find.

{alt}

Number 11 and 12, Im not sure where I found them.

{alt}

{alt}

Number thirteen was at a sports field. It was cut open
for some reason.

{alt}

Fourteen is a gold ring with a cross and a small
diamond found in a tot lot.

{alt}

Number 15 is a really nice diamond ring with a
large stone missing. It was found in a tot lot.

{alt}

Thats my fifteen 2008 gold rings.

Hope you enjoyed it,

Tabdog

Thanks Lem,

Tot Lots are the same thing as a playground.
They are easy to dig and have a higher amount
of jewelry tha most places, if your land locked.

I see ya like knives.

Believe it or not,

I used to throw away old knives unless they
were nice and worked.

A little over a year ago, I decided that I love
old knives and started collecting them.

I now have a small collection,

Here is some cheepos I found. But even tha
cheep ones can come in handy. I hunt with
one, and do not care what happens to it. I got
more.

{alt}

Now, these are more interesting.

{alt}

Tha KBar is collectable. It would fetch $30 or
so if I cleaned it up.

Tha tiny one with a tortes shell handle just says
made in USA. But I like it a lot.

There is an aluminum handle Case, and a wood
handle Case.

Also an original Swiss Army Knife, and a Gerber.

Here is my oldies. I just love um. Two are really
old.

{alt}

This one I like so much, I carry it. It is a Buck.

{alt}

I found this one yesterday.

{alt}

It is a John Primble knife. I was going to try
and restore it, but it has a big problem.

{alt}

The spring on tha big blade is broken. It was
probably discarded for that reason.

{alt}

The handles are drying out right now. I will get
another pic later.

Thanks fer lOOkin,

Tabdog

Go Up Go Down

tabdog,
 nice set of knives, haven't found any yet. Lots of old can openers though. Been out 3 times this week, found 18 coins and 1 tax token. I did go to 2 playgrounds and nothing yet.  Even went to a place where others have been and still found some coins. Here in the northwest the ground moves coins arround a lot as winter freezes and thaws the soil, a site up here is rarely worked out. I have constantly found coins after winter in areas I have already hunted. Like a good ol fishing hole that is always produceing coins.

Happy hunting
Lem
