Thanks Tabdog

That?s the info that I was looking for and you are right a bout the different tonality of the machine even a BFO will give you a different tone and the one that I build tends to not like ferrous metals but loves aluminum , gold, nickel ,lead and copper but things like nails it dose not like in fact  when I did my first tests on it I thought that it did not work I was using a screw driver to do the  test (bench tests)and if I did not put it very close 1-2 cm from the coil It did not respond but then I used a piece of lead and I found that it would pick it up at 35 cm I was really surprised but it?s still a use less machine good to initiate kids but that?s about all it?s good for

Well happy hunting
Xavier

Hay Exaviar,

I like my machines. They will pick up
lots of stuff that the Minlab Excell will
not even pick up 1/2" from the coil.

Tha Minlab guys just say they do not
want to mess with anything that small
anyway.

But, most of tha gold I find is small stuff.

I am talkin about $1,500 or probably more
that I would have left in tha ground if I
was using one of those $3,000 machines
that weighs 3 pounds more than my
machines.

There are a few machines I would like to
try.

But with the fun I been havin with my
Tesoros, I will not be shellin out any
more money soon,

Nice collection - so now you have me thinking that it's my detector not finding things like that instead of me - pleasant thought for the old blame game <grin> Sue
