Hi Tabdog

Well it looks like there are some nice rings in your collage but the thing is that they are very small to see .I think that you should post them one by one so that we can have a better look at them . All so giving us a bit of info as to where you found them would be nice . And what type of detector do you use?(VLF,PI..)

Hay Xavier,

I could do that on some of tha better ones.

Oh, by tha way, I have five Tesoro'es. They
are all VLF. I have;

Vaquero
Euro Sabre uMax
Silver Sabre uMax
Compadre 7" coil,, His name is MrSpeedy
Compadre 5.75" coil,, Her name is MisSpeedy

Mr and MisSpeedy find most of my gold.
The others find artifacts, or cherry pick.

They are all 2.2 pounds, or less. That is a
big pluss for me. I like to hunt withe them
also.

Thanks for tha suggestion,

Tabdog

Hi Tabdog

You?re obviously A VLF fan but can you tell me why? And why don?t you use a PI metal detector? Also where do you find all your rings my guess is on the beach but I may be wrong but if I am right wouldn?t a PI be more efficient? Ok so I?m  full of Q?s but that?s because I am building a metal detector in fact two of them a PI and a VLF

Hay Xavier,

Sorry it took so long.

I don't mind ya askin.

I have used more commertial metal detectors
for locating property corners and utilities than
TR machines.

There are few beaches around here that will
produce anything.

So, I use VLF.

Discrimination is important to me.

I am not yur everday beep n digger.

I have been using tone so long, I can tell more
with a single tone Tesoro than I can with tha TID
machines I have tried.

The 2 pound machines are easier for me to swing.
That's a biggie, I'm dissabled.

Most of my rings come from tot lots. Then swim
pools and beaches.

Then parks and sprots fields.

I only wish I had some nice beaches. The few
that are close enough for me to get to are not
big and heavily hunted.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog
