Tried my XP GoldMaxx Power on the wet sand a couple of weeks ago and came up with this one. Hallmarked 1921. Has a reversed "Vera" on the face, most probably used as a seal.
Don't beleive the people who say that the GoldMaxx Power doesn't work on the beach!

Indeed a very nice seal ring! The GMP is very sensitive to gold. From my expirience it works well on salty beaches / mineralized soils. I'm sure the GMP will get you many more nice finds on the beach! Hope you'll share them with us.

Best wishes,

Christian

Thanks for the post Christain, I must say, that using the GMP on the wet was an experiment that worked quite well, but my main preferred weapon on the beach is my Minelab Sov GT.
With our Minelabs we have found well over 60 gold/silver rings on the beach, not to mention well over ?2,000 during out 17 years of detecting
