hello ! i went out yesterday with my SMPI , hunting over a hill , when my detector sounded , after digging just ten inch , it look like a beautiful sestertius

Gaius Julius Verus Maximus (217/220 – May 238), also incorrectly called Gaius Julius Verus Maximinus or Maximinus the Younger was the son of the Roman Emperor Maximinus Thrax and his wife, Caecilia Paulina.
Maximinus appointed his son Maximus caesar around 236, but he held little real power. Both were murdered by the Praetorian Guard in May 238, during the Siege of Aquileia in the Year of the Six Emperors.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
