Jeez guy.  I guess I will be showing my experience on this board here but I am truly bedazzled by that coin.  And silver to boot?  I guess there aren't all that many metals that will hold up that well after four thousand freaking years in the dirt huh?

  Anyway, I definitely have the detecting bug but will absolutely never find something on that level here on the Louisiana Gulf Coast.  Maybe one day I will make enough money in loot to get myself that beautiful compact ground penetrating radar so that I can truly hit a those old coastal forts out here for something real but even that will not be one fifth as old as your coin there.

  Oh well, time to look up some old newspaper photos to see what things around here looked like back in the old days so that I can find a new spot of three.
