GD  There is evidence of ancient Romans in Arizona of all places.  So Australia is very possible.

It's way too easy to taint evidence these days because of the mobility of humanity. I have a nice collection of Roman coins here in Australia which, should I accidentally lose one, would cause a problem for the finder. Can't you see it now? "I wonder how a Roman soldier got to here?"

Your evidence is probably much the same so don't take that theory to the bank, Joe.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

The evidence that was found near Tucson Arizona was more than just a coin.  It included swords and what-not buried under a layer of Earth that was called caliche (spelling may be off) that took hundreds of years to cover these artifacts.

It might just be me, but it would have been courteous and responsible of you to provide at least one or two links when asked for your proof rather than just the rather flip Google it yourself response you posted.   Those who post non-standard theories should have the courtesy to the rest of the membership to also provide some sort of meaningful support for the theory if asked.

BA  I think it is just you.  I answered the request that's all.  No flip attitude on my part.  Try not to read more into my messages than are actually there.  If you want to dig further into this mystery you now have the means.  If I would have expounded on my own personal views of this historical find you moderators would have pounced on me like a Duck on a June bug,  soooooo I refrained this time due to my past experience on this forum.
