Hi

another fibula from last week. It?s a typical soldier fibula dated end of the 2nd / beginning of the 3td century a.C.
It?s 3,5 cm long.

cool thing! Where did you find it? I saw a TV film on history channel about Roman Empire in German and it was very interesting. Most of finds are near earthen bank of Trayan Emperor.

I did find it in Hungary  Grin i have friends there and spend every year 1 week for hunting there.

In the area where i life in germany ( Nuremberg ) we have no roman finds because it never was roman territory. They never managed to defeat us here  Wink
