Anyone interested in starting a club

Hello All!
I have been interested in getting into finding missing shipwrecks and treasure hunting for quite a while now.  I realize that the costs can get high in purchasing items such as side sonar, magnetometer, tow behind metal detector, scuba equipment etc, so I am hoping to get a small group together and start on a smaller scale.  I am not sure exactly where to start, but maybe doing some beach or shallow water metal detecting.  I would like to research a factual treasure wreck or buried treasure/gold and do a realistic search. I wanted to put this idea out there to see if I could generate any interest?  I am located in Richmond Virginia, but I am willing to travel a little. There are so many treasure still missing and waiting to be found.  Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and interests.  Nick

Hello Nick,

indeed cost of underwater recovery is tremendous. Hence the idea of teaming up with others is a good approach but make sure you chose the right people or you may end up in anger.

Please keep us posted.

Best wishes,

Christian

Nick are you a certified diver? I search for shipwrecks on the west coast of Florida. I already have a sidescan sonar, mag and underwater detectors. I could use your help down here if we find something.

Found any wrecks yet?
Sertified divers from Norway might help you salvage the cargo  8)
