Cornelius, I received a phone call around midnight last night. I was told that there was a report on the late news on TV in Miami, Florida . The segment was about Burt Webber finding a shipwreck in the Dominican Republic. I was told that it was a British Ship, but they didn't show any treasure that was salvaged. I'm sure we will be hearing more about it in the next few days.
I just thought it would be nice to let people know what is going on in the treasure hunting community.

Ed thanks for the info . You and I have heard many of these stories but seldom we have seen any result . If you found a wreck would you blabber ir all over the world ? No I think that you would just salvage the ship and keep quiet about it . Now if Burt wants some investors to help him pay for the cost of salvage I can understand what he is doing . Time will tell Ed wether this just one of these stories again or that it has merit . Thanks again for informing me . Cornelius

Cornelius, Burt has a public company paying all his bills. Of course I wouldn't put it passed him to try and generate some kind of news after looking for a wreck for over a year. ( I guess he needs to get the stock price up ).
I agree with you. I wouldn't want word to leak out until I was finished working the wreck. Unless, I had a public company backing me, then I might leak just enough details for the stock price to go up, to help with the expenses.
