Galleons And Sunken Treasure is the new book by Claudio Bonifacio. Its different from other treasure books. He has extensive documents and eyewitness accounts of specific wrecks in the Caribbean and Atlantic. Available from LULA.com at $33, its a bit pricey for a paperback but with 378 pages there is info that I have never seen before.

Lulu is a "Print on Demand" publisher. To send you a book, they print it, bind it and ship it to you after you order. That makes it a bit higher in price than you'd pay for a mass produced book. For you, it means the book will never be so rare as to command super high prices nor will it be unavailable when you want it. In the near future, you will see a PDF alternative from Lulu books. They're still trying to figure out how to keep people from spreading a digital version around.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
