Also the Land of Rokan is mentioned to be next to The kingdom of Daru (according to: The Suma Oriental of Tome Pires: The Suma oriental of Tome Pires, books 1-5 page 146-149) proves my Kingdom of Daru theory....

I just found a 1700s spanish chart that has Yslas De Daru - Estrecho De Malaca

So the first search area appears close... but found a lot more documents pin pointing another spot close to where it was originally thought to be according to the archaeologist research...

I thought Bob Marx has only ever said that they recovered some artifacts from around the reef (figurines, Ming porcelain, and some weapons etc.) but the main site "probably" lays over a large area under 15m of mud in 37 metres of water and has yet to be worked.

Some wrecks never get positivally identified but is it wrong to claim you have found it if you have found artifacts of the right period in the location you belive the wreck to lay ?.

You can never get the full truth about any site as this bussiness has always needed to have an element of story telling for the investers and a smoke and mirrors approach for the aurthorities.

It is not unkown to have a search operation going on deliberatly in the wrong area as a decoy for a recovery operation on the real wreck.

I hope one day that the main bulk of the wreck is found and recovered.

Golddigger . If you want to tell me that by knowing somebody they always speek the truth I have to disappoint you . Where do you know Marx from ?   It looks to me that you are constantly out for an argument . I advice you not to do that .  Cornelius

Do not presume to advise me. I do not like your judgment of Robert Marx which seems to be based on a personal dislike of the man. It is none of your business where I met Robert Marx. It is sufficient to say that I did. I have no reason to disbelieve a statement he clearly made to the international press or the treasure hunting community in general. I do have reason to disregard your comments and feel compelled to correct your wrongful statements about Robert Marx when you post them.

Perhaps you should put your prejudices aside and simply comment on the facts. Facts are far different than your feelings about Robert or your memories of the waters around the site. In short, my dear friend Cornelius, you are not the expert you pretend to be. At least not based on evidence presented here. As a matter of fact, you have presented no evidence at all. All you do is see Robert Marx mentioned in a bad light and you cheer. When anyone, such as myself, presents him in a good light, you threaten them. This is a habit of yours apparently.

Your advice is useless and absolute nonsense. Please do not offer any more threats to me, Cornelius. It shows you to be weak if words trouble you so much.

Golddigger . I know what I am talking about . I still say to you , where did you meet Marx ?  No use saying that you don't have to tell us . You made the statement that you knew / know Marx . So why not tell us where you had the pleasure of meating with marx . And I don't mean meeting the man at some siminar . If you are a colse friend of Marx I want to enter your name into the investigation of Mr  Marx by the Indonesian Gouvernment . I represent the Indonesian Gouvernment in this case . So let me know what your position in this matter is .    Cornelius

It was many years ago that I met Robert Marx, Cornelius. Where, when and why are my business, not yours. Deal with it.

You are in the wrong place to discuss your involvement with the Indonesian government. You have just confirmed to me that you are nuttier than a fruitcake and a complete fool. All that in a mere few weeks. Congratulations.

Real treasure hunters do not threaten others, do not libel others and certainly do not puff themselves up by pretending to be a representative of a government. How amazing that you do all that from the Netherlands.

Go bother someone else now, mate. I am done with you.
