Christian as I wrote you the benefit of having a great number of old maritime maps is that you can find long lost wrecksites that are marked on them . All it takes is looking and searching. The most famous mapmakers were Dutch so it is easy for me to go over them . The VOC was quite active in the area's China , Formosa , India , Ceylon and Indonesia . Furthermore was there the route form and toward Indonesia coming from Holland . So there is plenty to look for . The ,,Keizerin ,, was a well loaded ship . At the time of wrecking she had a ,,flute ,, ship in tow . A flute was a smaller ship . This Flute was also wrecked at the same location . For many years these ships were looked for but never could anybody find them . Now seeing the clear location on a VOC map makes it a lot simpler to go after her ( and the ship in tow ) . We should look just outside the Bay of Padaran . Also the map showed the spot where a Chinese Junk was wrecked . This spot is a little up stream in the Couchim River ( entering this river through the East River . Research certainly is paying off for me . Cornelius
