Has anyone out there tried these gizmos to locate bottles etc. on the bottom? Can they be towed slowly by boat or canoe perhaps? What kind of picture can you expect. Lots of questions need answers. Thanks. Happy hunting. H.

Hello Harold, this sure does work and will be much cheaper than e.g. buying a commerical unit from e.g. JW Fisher. Also such a tow camera can be built quite cheaply using one of these small CCD cams with good resolution and brightness.

Best wishes,

Christian

The upper Crust Humming Birds cans see the bottom most well.

You may try them out?

If the water clarity is not too bad they work fairly well and the brighter it is out side helps too.
