Thanks.  Is the hardware in 2.jpg what is referred to as the "forward towpoint - no yaw" in 1.jpg?  It's not completely clear to me how it stabilizes the towfish more than the stock attachment hardware does.

That hardware in 2.jpg is certainly solid-looking, but how does it really stabilize the towfish more than the stock hardware does?

Because it the tow fish is better balanced then and wobbling around. With the standard hangel it is off balance and thus not steady moving forward and backward.
