I dont have any buddies so when I got a request I tried to add the user. Do user's have to have so many post before they can be added as a buddy? Thanks

No post required to add buddy's just go to members profile and under their name it says add as buddy just click and a request is sent. I can't remember but I think if you get a request you go to their profile page to except.

Thanks, I figured it out. Theres also a link in the edit buddies list. It didnt work. I usually set up my own databases and such, so just trying to learn. The forum is on steriods. It has many options, I like options. Except in my detector, too much stuff makes you stupid.

Thanks for your kind words and enjoying it! I really appreciate the positive feedback. Unfortunatel there is still much which can be improved ... but be assured we are working on it  Wink We really would like to make this site one of the best treasure hunting spots on the net.

There is so much on here, its hard to see why it isnt already. I was just looking for information on meteorites. I ended up with three metal detectors, and whole bunch of new friends on here, and in town. I went from reading to doing. I never in a million years would have thought of using a detector, or building a sluice, or learning about rocks, and what isnt a meteorite. I dont just think about it, I do. I have had many trips already out and about, and have two more schedualed in thenear future. The site works for those who want it to. If you cut back on something, it would only hurt the site. It stays policed up pretty well too. I dont worry about my personal information either. I will say the site is geared for college types and engineers, but the readings from all over are wonderful. I know you know this already, theres a bunch of broken links. But all the new stuff is working that I get into. Good Luck and keep up the good works.
