Hi Guys,

Just a quick question.

I noticed when I signed up that the site would not accept GMAIL accounts as contact email address.

Can anything be done to fix this so we can use our gmail contact details or is there a problem beyond any reasonable quick fix.

I don't really like having to use Hotmail, but was forced to when joining as my primary email address which is gmail was not accepted.
I prefer gmail and for us Mac users its a great platform to work from.

We have several members using gmail so am not sure what the problem is. Go into your profile and try to change it if that don't work I got a plan b and maybe a plan c

Hello,

unfortunately I have had to disable gmail accounst in the sign up process a while back as 99.9% of the spam bots use Gmail. Disabling Gmail also keeps out most of them. I am sorry that this however will also affect the sign up process for real members.

PS: I am not sure but I think you may be able to change your registered eMail account to Gmail after you have signed up. This would probably be a fix for your problem. Please give it a shot and let us know if it helps.

There you Goldhound sorry about that but we were getting hit by bot's a lot lately.
Try this go to the top of page and click users controls on the next page click my account in the second box is your email address change it then go to bottom of page enter password and click change account info.
Please let us know if that works.

I will try and change it now as I prefer it, also have some great filters on my computer which will allow me to file any messages etc from Thunting.com much easier.
