Sorry if this is in the wrong place  Hello

I would like the text in my signature to be a bit bigger. How can I achieve this? Any help will be appreciated very much. (Check below to see how small it is).

Only way I know to do it Peter is go to Microsoft word or clipboard and type what you want and font size you want then cut and paste it in the signature box

Thanks Seldom,

If it works then you should see a bigger signature at the bottom of this message  Crazy

Oh dear, I guess it does not work..... Umm I think I will have to use some HTML or something  Idea

Posted on: 08-11-2010, 15:04:05
Ok, now I have it..... you have to use BBcode to change size, make it bold etc.... Do a search in the search engine on "BBCode Tutorial".

Hope that helps others.

[ /b ][ /size ]

the [ b ] [ /b ] is what makes the text bold

the format is [ code ] [ /code ] no spaces inside of the brackets.....

I will try and better this and keep all informed on what I find.

Hi Guys,

Found this tutorial on the internet for BBCode (Bulletin Board Code)..... hope this will be of great help. You can use this in the body of the topic also.... But don't overdo it as I am not sure what difference it makes to space on the server etc..... (although it should not make any difference)

It does take up very little space but if everyone started adding graphics the page loading time would increase significantly and server loading would also increase. BB code takes time to interpret and that loads the server as well. Even though I enjoy the convenience of not having to sign each post, I fail to see why such elaborate signatures would be necessary.

There is a user here who has a huge poster of a US Marine Corps evacuation and another who loves his Garrett. Both take so much time to load as to no longer be amusing. Now they have become a liability.

All the graphics have turned into urban graffiti around here We have avatars to make a statement don't need all that add space for signatures. Some people just got to think they shining.

My big objection is that not only does it effect everything you post from that time forward until you change it, it also effects everything you have already posted.
