Sounds good or u can go with something that has to do with pirates etc, not sure
but somelike a cabin hand , first mate etc, Pirate  , either way is fine with me.

you could name them after metals , or Gems, pearl ruby emerald saphire , diamond,      diamond being the highest

I Suggest comming up with several types then making a Poll and letting the members decide and Participate.

it makes everyone feel more like they have a say so and that they belong that way.
