I'm really enjoying the icons for the foil and pull-tab levels.   Having such different images associated with them makes it more fun and more memorable (and probably more exciting to move from one level to another).  If we stick with the "metal" theme let's try to get some equally instantly recognizeable icons for the other levels rather than using different colored ingots (the bronze ingots are my least favorite).

Sound good to me BA, I really thought this Subject and Thread would have taken off and been up to 30 pages by now with all kinds of ideas etc, guess i was wrong.  Embarrassed

So now I'm a silver member...nifty icons for the rankings...much better than the old system!

This may or may not be related to the new rankings system, but when I try to right-click any hyperlink on the site to open it up in a new tab, I get a dialog box saying "Sorry! Right click disabled for guests. Please register.". The usual "Welcome Hobbyist" seems to be missing too. Everything else seems normal. Have cleared cookies, re-logged in and used latest versions of Firefox and Chrome browsers with the same effect. Attached is a printscreen of what i see.

Love the icons so far! Foil, and pull tab are great, the silver & gold bars look pretty impressive, but I'm thinking along lines of metal detecting here - we so often get hits on clad, so perhaps some sort of 'clad coin' and then next a 'silver coin' might be kind of nice levels to put in the mix? Then higher up would be the silver & gold bars, I also prefer the rings in there too, so the finding of a ring is much rarer than a coin (obviously) - so they'd be the next level after the silver coin.
1 - foil
2 - pull tab
3 - clad coin
4 - silver coin
5 - silver ring
6 - gold ring
7 - bronze bars
8 - silver bars
9 - gold bars
etc.

I just checked for warnings on your user status and you are clear. I reset them anyway so check again and let us know how things are working now.
