THunting Journal

aussie_gold,

The first software looks great.  Clapp  Regarding the journal, I will try not to repeat Xavier because he put up some great ideas.  Here is what my vision was for a journal.  An entry began with the date and the time frame of the search i.e. July 3, 2013,  9:00am to 10:00am.  Then the location of the search using either an address, cross streets, park name, campground name, gps coords, etc. Maybe even have a map similar to the map used on this website on the profile pages. I pictured a comments section to type text that won't fit in a specific category of a find.  Next being able click on a button like (new entry) to enter specific find information.  The find information would be the things that Xavier entered.   So basically you could enter all your finds for the trip and have them linked to the initial entry information I originally entered.  Regarding the specific find data I would add a comments section as well.  Sometimes I find things and am unsure of what they are.  After doing some research I can add a name, date range or possibly some history to it.

Thanks,

Live2Hunt

Well done mate looks great and very promising. Live2Hunt thanks for your input now once we have it running we will be able to see where we will need to do some changes, by the way could this app be made to run on Ipads and the likes?

All the best
Xavier

They're on page 1. On my browser, there is no page 3. You seem to be wasting a lot more time telling them where they are, waiting for them to tell you they STILL can't find them and then telling them again.

So here's an idea. Repost them right now then they'll be RIGHT HERE! Cool, eh?

Hi

Ok, here are some images of the first in the Thunting software series.

As i explained previously, this is in development form only. Not in release form.

I will try my best to complete the Gold Calc software by the weekend.

Once finished i will insert a link so you can download it.

LOL the page numbers are not the same for everyone because you can change the amount of posts per page.

Exactly. This is why I suggested he post them again rather than keep on trying to explain where they were. Clearly they could not be found based on the description. Now, they can.

Well I found them with no problem but some were not thumbnails, when I went back some time later they had all become thumbnails so it could be that they were not visible at the time. Any ways it don't matter I just wanted the members to understand what could have happened.

Thumbnails take time to rebuild by the GD library in PHP. Not GD as in me, but GD as in Graphics Display. All bazillion images on the forum had to be rebuilt one by one. A big job.
