you can upload multiple images per post. No attachments however must be larger than 250kb in size.

I will soon re-enable the photo bucket service.

Christian,

Downloaded the photo resizing software and then tried to post just one photo.... No luck. I thought it was going to work because I set the size at the minimum(200) but when I hit 'enter', the process took too long and the process shut down.. Any other suggestions.. This really shouldn't be an issue. I have posted many times before by just hitting 'attach'.  Am I doing something incorrect with the software?  It appears that I am not the only one having the problem. If anyone else knows how I can fix the problem, please advise. Coloma Gold

I still have problems myself. I tried one the other day at 35 kb and it did not make it. I have posted ones under 30 kb with out a problem though. I was thinking the 35 would make it. Do you have any idea after this is fixed will the posts show up? But I also see posts with attachments up to almost 100 kb? It was from Dec. 12 which was after the problems.

Hello Guys,

you should be able to upload attachments up to 250 kb without any problems. Likely you will temporarily receive a screeb advicing you to enter a captcha code. Do you get this screen? Or what happen if you try to upload a rather big file?

Original File size was 203 and 175 kb ... software the board software automatically downsized it to match the screen resolution of 1024 y 800 Pixels max. Worked like a charm.

I tried to upload two photos, each with approximately 5.85 mg. I get an error message saying that I cannot download because it takes too long and therefore shuts down....I have submitted photos previously (before your system incurred problems from another source) but now I cannot. I have not changed anything except the camera ( replaced a cybershot with an new cybershot). Coloma Gold

Do you you 5,85 Megabytes? If yes than that's way to big unfortnately. The upload limit is 0,25 MB per file and I think 2 MB per post total. Can you please check and let me know? Thanks!

Christian,

I re-checked the more recent photos (from the new camera). They are ranging in the area of 5.8 mb. I also checked the photos from the old camera that were actually posted previously and the seem to be in the area of 300 kb (as high as 1.45mb but not sure if I posted this one).  How do I re-size the newer ones in order to fit within the parameters?  I downloaded the re-sizing software and tried to use it but without luck (apparently I wasn't doing it correctly). Can you tell me how to resolve this issue? thanks Coloma Gold

Your pictures were just too big for being properly processed by the board.

Nope...still no luck. I tried to use the re-sizing tool correctly. I attempted to send just 2 photos. Got the same message that it took too long and would not complete the task.... I guess I will just have to give up on trying to show my photos to those who may be interested.   Coloma Gold
