A great short history of South Carolina. Being born and raised in Georgia many of my family researching efforts have led me to South Carolina and i am still looking!

Have you used the search functionality at the top of the page? There have been several postings on this topic in the past (I believe most are in the Beginners section). The good news is that once you get permission from one person and have shown yourself to be conscentious and respectful of their property, you can usually use that to open other doors (just ask toleary32
