Go Up Go Down

A friend of mine is currently camping near Lake Hartwell in SC. Does anyone know of any good gold bearing creeks near Walhala or along hwy 11 between the lake and Walhala for him to get a bucket of gravel from before he comes back this way? I really want something to pan while it is still too cold out and this is the perfect opportunity to pan some not purchased paydirt. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I have to calm my gold fever until better weather.
Thanks in advance for any help.

This post is REALLY OLD.

You should go to the Prospectors Talk Board and ask again.
