I just got a PistolPROBE. It's got new batteries and I'm only getting 3 inches when air testing coins regardless of threshold or frequency settings. I've seen a few videos showing 5-6 inches air testing coins. Any ideas?

Solved... it was the batteries.

I measured 8.5 volts from both batteries in the probe. I opened a new pack that measured 8.8 volts and picked up an entire inch of depth.  Now I'm getting 4 inches on a penny and 5 inches on a nickel.

Thanks to Gary at DetectorPro for the help. It's an awesome probe.

Now who do I talk to about getting my full 9 volts that I'm paying for Angry
