Go Up Go Down

These are water and beach hunting machines that are lightweight waterproof metal detectors. The Wader can be submerged to about 6 feet before it starts to leak. The Diver can be used for actual Scuba diving for treasure.

These units are one of the easiest detectors to use, can be broken down for compact backpacking. Very stable in operation and will find gold, silver and coins in most soil conditions.

Comparisons of these units have been made with the Tesoro Tigershark, Fisher 1280x, CZ20 and the Minelab Excalibur. The Detectorpro units are in a class of their own with only the Fisher 1280x having almost identical performance. The Tesoro Tigershark will out perform the Wader/Diver hunting in freshwater, it operates on a higher frequency and is much more sensitive to small gold and silver. The Tigershark will not handle saltwater condition very well, where the Wader handles it much better. The Tigershark also tends to be a bit noisy. Neither the Wader or the Diver will surpass the performance of the Fisher CZ20 or the Minelab Excalibur for depth, ability to handle salt and freshwater conditions. But, they also cost a lot less.

Yes, they are. Garrett, White's, Minelab, Tesoro and a few others manufacture machines that can be used completely submerged.

Per above post, you will find quality units made for water hunting by the other manufacturers indicated on my website.
Just depends what type of water hunting you plan on doing, salt, fresh or both and how much your willing to spend.
