The first metal detector I ever bought was an Orion Rocket Stage Two made by Orion Electronics, a subsidiary of Neumann Electronics in Deiphos, Ohio.   I bought the detector from Kellyco shortly before Gulf War I.   Andy Sabisch reviewed it in the June 1990 issue of Lost Treasure and said "If you are searching for a simple-to-use detector with better than average depth capabilities, the Orion Rocket Stage 2 might just be the one you are looking for."

Nowadays, I'm one of the few detectorists I know who have even heard of the brand let alone used one.

This stirred a lot of interest in 2003 , then nothing happened !! Bandido II by Sog .

A short time later the Chemelec Electronic website in Canada eventually finished a nice 2 board Bandido Project . I will make sure the files on that 2 board are still here .

Rider another forgotten drive by Project !!
