Has anyone heard of or tried a Seben Deep Target Metal detector?

This is what the AD claims this detector can do???

Product description SEBEN Deep Target:

The metal detector Deep Target is an extremely professional metal detector, which leaves hardly desires remaining.

It is characterised by the following special features:

Very high search depth (up to 3 meters)!

The fully automatic special design works after the principle "switch on and start over immediately" without having to spend much time with adjustments.

2 search methods: Target Pinpointing (exact localizing of the target under the ground) and move (searches by movement of the search coil).

Waterproof high speed, high performance search-coil!

No disturbing cables (the cable is installed inside and thus perfectly protected from external influences).

Adjustable frequency discriminator technique (filtering of unwanted metals e.g. iron or silverfoil etc.).

Modern and above all ergonomic Design for perfect and effortless search even over longer time.

Extremely small energy consumption due to newest technology. Only 2 batteries (9-Volt of blocks) are necessary for the operation of Deep Target.

For optimal adjustment to own height the linkage is once divisible and the lower bar of the telescope is extendible.

The metal detector Deep target - designed for people looking for a professional and uncomplicated metal detector.

Hello ksightler . This exact question was just discussed last week . It has potential [with some modifications] to be a very good machine . It is made in China and the workmanship is very poor . I will try to find the thread . Anyone else is welcome to comment here !!! We may have to merge the two identical topics/threads together .

That's odd because it was discussed last week. Christian gave it very low marks.

German company, Chinese detector guts. They do sell them cheap but the quality is just not there.

Did you see this site? Lots of info on VLF underwater machines and how to use them.

Only on beaches near water. It's a great PI machine but PI isn't all its cracked up to be. Pinpointing in sand or water is a "close is good" type of circumstance. Using it in a park would be very hard since the target can be anywhere within a large area. There are better PI machines out there but this one was made for depth in water.
