I been usin their stuff bout 4 yr, other stuff too, but they have been the most trouble free, (NO problems at all), and like all, you have to learn them, I really enjoy the units and most times  have a Wader and a  Land Pro, they work good, are light and do just what they are supposed to do, any problems or questions I have had (i created myself) a quick call to the factory and it was resolved, never had to send one in, just replace my earcups cause i wear them out bout ever 2 yrs, good outfits,  5 stars ******  Great

 Hello
Thanks for your info.  I've just become a supplier of DetectorPro and it's always good to get positive feedback.

I heard The Headhunter Land-Pro is the best one to buy and operates at 2.4 khz .......What a coincidence , it is identical to Fisher 1280x which also is at 2.4 khz !! I have heard nothing bad about Detector Pro , except that they have water leaks in the Headphones that can cause circuit board corrosion , is that true or False ? ...Thanks for posting , any opinions are very welcome here ......Regards................Eugene52

Eugene52- and about the water leaks, over 90 percent are caused by the user not following instructions of giving the sealing  "O" rings a light coat of silicone grease, takes about 30 seconds, and $3.00 grease will probably last 40 years.
Have had many talks with Gary Storm the man that engineered and designed the Detector Pros, they  are just coincidentally(by what I am told) the same frequency, i guess the circuits are different, he tells me he engineered these from the ground up, and incidentilly he is the one that designed and engineered the Minelab Excalibur for Minelab,  the guy knows what he is doing with electronics from what i have been told, and is a great guy to talk with, the warrantys on DP products is first class if anyone needs any work done. I am impressed with them, and probably like them better than any detectors I have ever had, (have probably had 80  or 90 since 1975),  but i use bout anything that will make a beeping sound, where I live is not conducive for water detecting or diving, not enough water to hardly get you feet wet, but if there was i'd be there, bout 50 yr ago did snorkle quite a bit in the south china sea, ( i think that's what the name was-near the Phillipines anyway)

Hey Outback= meant to get back with you, you said they were "CHEAP" lordy, I got over $900.00 in my Land pro with 8 and 10 coils and probe,  Shocked, just thought i'd mention that, got mine new thru a gud dealer and many trades, so it wasn't painful, and i really like it, probly more than my Garretts, Minelabs, and Fishers,  But anyway, i got all prices detectors, usually do bunches o tradin to get em as I don't have much in the way of $$   HH = Bugar

Hello , They are cheap in comparison to Minelab or JW fisher !!  Like I said , if I were to purchase a Detector-Pro I would definitely buy the Head-Hunter Land pro , because I read some good reports on that particular machine ..............Thank-You Bugar for your informative posts Here on Thunting.com !!!...............Regards............................Eugene52
