hi, just acquired a techna inc mark 7 detector , can anyone help me with  any company history or any info on this detector . i have searched everywhere and come up blank . thanks

If you can post a picture of it, that would help. If it happens to be one of the modern day Chinese detectors, they come unbranded and a host of sellers on e-Bay sell them under a host of brand names.

Ok I found out a little info on techna inc. They were from el paso texas and were in business from 1977 to 1985 then went chapter 8 . It seems to be a quailty detector . I will post a picture soon
