Generally speaking does anyone think that one is moresensitive than the other??

Share your opinions.....

I think they are both about the same but then again I've had more experience with Garrett than Tesoro so who knows.

I own a Tesoro tigershark which I love and I think it does a great job finding deep targets.  I once found a fish hook 1/2 the size of a dime wire thin 8 inches deep in gravel underwater which shocked me.  The only experience I have with Garrett is a bottom end machine Treasure Ace 100 so that isn't a fair comparison.  I'm sure they make a good top end machine but I like the Tesoro Waranty and there service is second to none.  Just my $0.02

I thought it would be an interesting thread to start to see what came up about the machines sensitivities.  The tigershark is a very good UW unit and you can't beat the warranty.  I would second that anytime!  I have had more experience with Garrett  than  Tesoro machines though.

I run a Garrett GTAx 1000 for land hunting and am thinking of replacing it with a Tesoro land unit just to upgrade to a newer unit since mine is around probably 10 yrs old now.  The GTAx has been a good unit and I have recovered coins and tokens from as deep as 6 or 88" with it but with advancements in circuitry over the years it may be time for a change.

I had 10-12 Tesoros, and i think round 7 or so garretts, all different kinds, and ir allus seemed to me the Tesoro , no matter which model had just the  SLIGHTEST EDGE , not much, but on the ID part the Garrett was a better ID machine, then again the Tesoro was lighter, but then again the---------- AWWWW shucks, i could keep a goin, what one does bettern the other, but i do think the Tesoro has a very tiny edge on SENS, but there's so many things to take into considerartion, then we might even get off on talkin bout whites and minelab fore we knew it, or shadows, it's all in what feels good to you and how well you know to run it.

Other than the Ace250 and depending on the price range , at this point I would give the advantage overall to the Tesoros. garrett is still using some older albiet decent technology. Tesoro with the HOT coils has done a great job getting more depth with no big price increases. Advantage Tesoro. Let me know if any of you need any more help with your decisions.  Cool

Yes, I would have to say that I would give the overall advantage to Tesoro as well.
