I have a few spots where my 2-box detector can't go...in sea water up to approx 30-45 feet. Right now I'm looking at 2 detectors: the Garrett Sea Hunter Mark 2 and the White's Surf PI Dual Field. These detectors aren't exactly top of the line, but I am loth to splurge on a JW Fisher 8X.

Your recommendations and user experiences will be appreciated!

Hello,

please stay away from bothe! The Sea Hunter tends to leak. A friend of mine has had two different units leak within one year. The JW Fisher is way overpiced. I would recommend using an Aquapulse. Still the finest PI machine for underwater hunting.

Regards,

Christian
