This is from a story regarding same find from the Scotsman. People making comments there, about the story, are saying Nordic symbols in the rock. I realize metal detectors are off limits, but it seems people would have come in and shoveled that place to pieces by now with that local ditty / saying - maybe they have in the past.

Thanks for the link to information about the old church. I really spent a good deal of time staring at the picture of it last night. I did not realize other housing and the road was so close. I have enjoyed your posts - I should have probably said so earlier - great reading material. Sue

Very interesting, but there are no pictures of the..... ahem.... pac-men. I was think they might represent the hoof marks of the devil?  Shocked
