Hello All

Thank you Sue for an interesting thread.

In regards to the cemetery one has realize the possibility of a multilevel usage of graves on the site, some times 2 or 3 graves of different periods over the top of one another. Some times a medieval cemetery can be built on top of a much older cemetery. There has been cases that some newer graves cut into older graves.

By the look of the engraved stones who ever was buried there had a high status burial.

What direction was the graves laid out?
